Being a Bachelor Pad Specialist I see alot of UMMM… let’s just say challenging bachelor pads. One of my client’s living room needed some major attention. Check out how I transformed this living room from WTF To WOW.
I am always a little shocked when a client is well-manicured, suited & booted, rocking expensive shoes, and jumping out the foreign but their home is the opposite of their appearance.
I don’t judge because you never know what is going on in a person’s life and alot of times their home will reflect it. Or they just don’t have a sense of interior style and don’t care to have one.
Why it is important to have a comfortable space
It’s important to have a comfortable, chill, and cozy space to come home to, especially after a long day of securing the bag. You want to be in a non-stressful atmosphere that feels good and makes you feel good.

All about the living room
Let’s check out an example of what you may call a challenging bachelor pad. This is a pic of my client’s living room.
It had the following problems:
- It’s cluttered
- Has too much furniture that’s bulky and outdated
- No style or organization
- No warmth or personality
I completely re-styled the living room by giving it a more grown and sexy look that fit his budget and his personal style.
I completed the following:
- The first thing I did was cleared all the clutter off the wall, gave the walls a new paint job. Got rid of the hideous furniture, and replaced it with more modern and industrial furniture.
- Eliminated all that heavy wood and brought in more glass, glass will add space, dimension, and light to a room.
- Lastly, I added wall art, home accessories like a plant, pillows, coffee table books, and tabletop decor.
This is how I transformed this living room from WTF to WOW. He was very pleased with the outcome and so was I.
