One of the biggest bedroom turn-offs I see often in alot of bachelor pads is a standard mattress chilling on the floor. This is not a sexy or mature look. I have 2 easy fixes that will solve this unfortunate issue. Let’s get into it after the break…
If you have been living in your bachelor pad for more than 7 months it’s time to get your mattress off the floor. Also like I stated earlier this is a turn-off to women, we do not find this attractive. You are not in college anymore and it’s not acceptable for comfortable and stylish living. Why is it so difficult to just buy a bed frame? Let’s discuss two inexpensive options you can choose from:
Option 1: Metal Bed Frame – This is the most common and the cheapest, you can buy one for less than $100. Search Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace and you probably find one for less than $50. Note: If you pick this option you will need to make sure you have a foundation/box spring.

Option 2: Platform Bed Frame – This is the most popular among bachelors and is perfect for a mattress without the foundation/box spring. They are very modern, sleek, and easy to assemble. The good news is if your funds are low, you can get one with good quality for under $200 from places like Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Home Depot.

I have shown you 2 inexpensive options that I frequently recommend to my clients that have mattresses on the floor in their bachelor pads. So instead of buying those $300 sneakers use that money and be responsible for your in-home comfort and style. You can always upgrade to a better bed frame at a later time.
