1. Warm up your bedroom with cotton or flannel sheets, and a thick-down comforter. Try stylish winter colors like dark blues, browns, and orange.

2. Purchase a weighted blanket, they keep you warm and will give you a good night’s sleep. Just make sure you get the right blanket weight, use this guide as a reference:

Body Weight Blanket Weight
>100 lbs 5-12 lbs
100-120 lbs 10-15 lbs
120-140 lbs 12-17 lbs
140-160 lbs 14-19 lbs

3. Window insulation is one of the easiest ways to keep your bachelor pad warm during the winter. A set of heavier curtains can help keep the cold weather from creeping in.

4. Add a thick throw blanket to your sofa so you can curl up with that special person(s) for Netflix & Chill or to read a good book. Get one with masculine appeal and when not in use throw it over the arm of the sofa or the back of it.

5. Seal up your doors and windows by plugging up any gaps or spaces that bring in a draft in your bachelor pad. Use caulk or weather stripping in black or white to plug up any gaps or spaces around windows and doors.

6. If you have wood floors you know that they can get cold AF during the winter. This is why you should get a large area rug(s), one with a high pile and flows with the furniture in the room.

7. Invest in a fireplace, they’re energy-efficient, safe, affordable, and create warmth and a relaxing ambiance. You can find one that will even fit in small apartments. Electric fireplaces are a good option, check some of them out at Home Depot.
